Registration

 Online registration for Fall 2010 semester is open.
As communicated at the end of last semester, we would like to set the registration deadline to early August to avoid the first day’s surprise and unexpected class/teacher rearrangement. Considering it’s very challenging to have everyone register in early August, following is our compromised plan for this year.
  1. The deadline for early registration is set to August 20th, 2010, either registered online by August 20th or registration form received by NCC before August 20th (Considering the delivering & handling time, please mail it early. Please inform hxcslv@gmail.com the course you register as well). Textbook order, class arrangement and teacher assignment will be based on August 20th registration list.
  2. After August 20th, it becomes late registration. The online registration and mail-in registration will still be open until August 27th. As usual, on-site registration will be available on the 1st school day, which is September 4th. After the 1st school day, there will be $7 late fee applied.
  3. For early registration,

    • Your textbook will be available on the 1st school day.

    • Your class seat will be secured unless there are not enough students (less than 3) to open the class..

  4. For late registration,

    • Your textbook may not be available on the 1st school day. We will pre-order certain amount of extra textbooks for late registration, however it will be first come and first serve.

    • If the class you register in has reached the limit (25 students), you may not be able to get in the class. If this happens, we will inform you before the 1st school day so you can either withdraw with 100% refund from NCC or change class.


We encourage you to register online through Northampton Community College secure course registration server using the following instructions:

1. Open the link to Northampton Community College Online Registration page
2. Type the word “Chinese” in the keyword search box at the top of the page and click “Go” or hit enter
3. Find the “Lehigh HuaXia Chinese School” heading and click the desired course title to view course details
4. Click “Add to cart”
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration
